About Us

Mika Securities has been a member of the Dhaka Stock Exchange since 2005. We are licensed by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, hold TREC No. 215 on the DSE, and act as a depository participant of CDBL.

Amar Biniyog is our own trading platform — with enterprise grade infrastructure. Your shares sit in a CDBL BO account in your own name. Your money moves between your own bank account and your trading account, and nowhere else.

Since 2005 we have served more than 100,000 investors, and today we operate from 26 offices across Bangladesh — and, through our non-resident services, Bangladeshis investing from abroad.

Anyone can start a brokerage in a bull market. What matters is who is still answering the phone afterwards.

Mika Securities has held continuous membership of the Dhaka Stock Exchange since 1 November 2005. That span covers the 2010–11 crash, the long recovery, the pandemic, and the floor-price years. We came through each of them without interrupting service to a single client.

From 2022 we began taking the business beyond Dhaka, to 26 offices nationwide. An investor in Sylhet or Chattogram gets the same platform, the same published commission schedule and the same margin terms as an investor walking into our Banani office. The branch network exists so that people who want a human being can find one — not so that anyone is charged more for the privilege of distance.

More than 100,000 investors have been served by us since 2005, including non-resident Bangladeshis running portfolios at home from wherever they happen to live.

The firm is independently owned and operated by the family that founded it. Most of the top brokers ranked alongside us are subsidiaries of banks or financial institutions.

Technology

Amar Biniyog runs on an order management system built by Xpert Fintech Limited, a capital-market technology company in which Mika Securities is a shareholder alongside a group of banks and financial institutions.

The practical difference is speed of innovation. We are not a licensee waiting in a queue behind other brokers for a feature request to be approved — we sit on the other side of that table.
